Default Austin`s 5th Annual War Bird

Hope it`s not to late to thank everyone that came out last weekend [April 25,26,27] It was great to see and visit with everyone. The guy`s from New Orleans really put on a show like always with a lot of flying from Thur thru Sun. Thanks Bill,Lenny, and Bob. Damon you where missed and hope to see you at Bomber or the next event. We ended up with 62 pilots and 125 war birds. Thanks again to all the pilots for putting on a great show. Ken White CD

Default Austins 5th Annual

Man, I really starting to not like these Louisianna guy's, especially that Lenny Smith character! It's like they have nothing better to do than travel all over and fly those real nice airplanes! I admit, I'm turning RLM 74 with envy! Lenny, the 109 that I bought from you last year is still flying great! I'm in the process of giving her a new paint job at the moment...I'll post some pics when she's finished.
Thanks for posting the pics...even though they do make me jealouus!
Happy flying,
Rob Bailey / Pickupsticks

Default Austin`s 5th Annual War Bird

F9Flyer, I too am jealous, I was in Killeen the week before last visiting my son at Fort Hood. Saw the ad in MA and wished I was there for the following week. We don't get to see too many big warbirds in one place up here in RI. Hopfully I'll get down there again, thanks for the pics Jim G

Default Hardware Head

Don't worry Evan, if he gets too big of a head, it'll just give me a bigger target when I go to smack him back down to earth.

The two Spitfires were exciting! You can be my wingman anytime. I swear I think I have 2 more inches of dihedral in my wings after that flight.

Hey, Lenny, I know you took some other pictures of airplanes that took home some hardware and they didn't all belong to you; although two out of four ain't bad. You know how we like to show off when there is an audience. I believe there was a nice AT-6 that took home some hardware also. Got any pictures?

Ken, you guys put on one hell of an event that we always enjoy attending. You all make us feel right at home.

Later,
Krum

Default Trainers

Trainers are not spoken of here, warbirds are. Trainer discussions are held in the kindergarten class down the hall......
