Default What Are The Clor Code For Perfect Paint

Hi yardy,

I have painted a pica spit and am doing a yellow aircraft spit using perfect paint. Here are the colors you might need......

Brown/Green combo: CHE33 "Dark Earth" top
CHE40 "Dark Green" top
CHE57 "Med. Sea Grey bottom

Green/Grey combo: CHE40 "Dark Green" top
CHE54 "Ocean Grey" top
CHE57 "Med. Sea Grey" bottom

I am by no means a spitfire expert so don't quote me on these. I did the pica using the bottom combo and it looks great. I know there are various different combo's available for the earlier mk.'s with the brown and green camo. You should try to get ahold of Chad Veich here on RCU. He's one of the local spitfire experts and will be able to tell you the exact colors......hope this helps.

I believe Chevron/Perfrct Paint calls the brown you speak of "middle stone".

Default Perfect colors

Yardy, which scheme are you painting?... If it's middlestone.. that is used on top with dark earth ..to make middle east camo.. If its 1940/41 its dark green and dark earth. if its 1942/43 its dark green and ocean grey on top.. its pretty much that for the duration of the war for day fighters.. Regards BobH.
