Default P-47 Photos

Well we finally got a nice day and everything ran right so got to fly with a P-47 today. This is Butch Shroeder's Hairless Joe in Robert Shillings markings. I had Harry LeMoyne in the backseat of the Nanchang taking pictures. He flew over 70 combat missions in Thunderbolts in the Eroupean theater. He had a blast flying with a Jug 60 years later. John Lane is flying the Jug for the first flight after a winter refubishment. Gives you chills to have a big warbird tucked up close and personal. This is a few pics from my digital camera, we got some real nice ones with the 35mm. Don

Pittsdrive, the pictures look great.. especially the air to air ones. I have a called Thunderbolt, Republick P-47 with that plane as the cover shot. Photograps are by Dan Patterson and text is by Paul PerkinsIts a "walk around" book and a very good book indeed. Lucky you to be so close!! Regards BobH.

Don, If your only haveing ONE senior moment.. hell your doing great LOL.. Im not quite a senior (close to it) and I have them alla time! BobH.
