I have a CMP Zero which have the stab glued onto the plane.

What can I use to remove the stab from the plane without damaging the parts so that I can can either re-cover or paint?

Since you don't know what type of glue was used I would try using a heat gun first.

Sorry I forgot to say the it's epoxy which was used to attach the stab to the rear of the plane.

A heat gun will soften epoxy enough to pull the stablizer out.

Thanks for that, I'll try that tomorrow.

I'd be very careful as you may soften up and warp the fiberglass fuselage before you break loose the epoxy holding on the stab.

What else should I try?
