Slats or no slats

Hi Guys,
Someone said that building the wing for the Fliteskin Me109 scale kit with slats adds too much complexity and maybe some weight.
Currently the kit comes with lase cut ribs that allow for the slats to be built (cavity in the wing).
I think the 109 with working slats is a must, will add tons of personality to the model, It also will improve performance during T.O and landings no doubt.
So what would you guys think : should there be an option or a set of ribs for the no slats builders??
