I saw one at my local flying field being flown by an experienced warbird pilot, and it was a handful. It was a pain to taxi, take-off, and land. It flew fine once it got up into the air. The pilot rarely nosed over a warbird in the past, but this Corsair nosed over everytime on landing. On the third landing, which the plane came in nice and smooth, the wing broke right down the center when the main wheels touched down. Upon inspection, very little glue was used in the wing center section.

doooh!
nice plane, was a good flyer, but it was a b*@#%$^tch to land!
I mean I could land it, that wasnt the problem, it was the landing gear not staying down!
No matter what I did with adjusting it, she would fold up under.
I had about 30 flights on it, 20 on its belly! Good thing about them gull wings............saved the servo's!
I like the plane, flew fine, but had too many probs with the gear.
Sold it to a friend here, he has stuffed it in, I'd say a good 5-6 times hard, broke the fuse, broke the wing, the stab.............
he has fixed it each time, and continues to fly it! One tough Bird!
