Default CMP Seafury CG - HELP!!

I bought a CMP Seafury ARF at a swap meet. It was already put together and was well used, but in good shape. They guy who had it had all the nose weight in the cowl and had run a .91 OS 4 stroke in it. I changed engines(GMS 1.20 2c) and glued all the weight on the firewall and added a little because it wasn't out in the end of the cowl. A friend of mine figured we could take the CG of his TF Seafury and get the right ratio, but it's still WAY nose heavy. Does anyone have one of these or the manual they could look it up for me? Once it's off the ground it flies great, but takeoffs and landings are a bear!

THANKS

If it is flying ok the CoG cant be too far out. If you are having trouble flaring for landing (have to have a fast approch) or if you go inverted and have to hold in a lot of down elevator to stay level then the nose is heavy.
If this seems ok then it could be an undercarrage set up problem with your bird that is causing you pain on the ground.

Any one else??

I have the plane its actually not a CMP but a willshobby . I used the top flight as a guide and did have to add a ton of nose weight actually 16oz and a large battery .
The one thing I do when is absoluet doubt is use the old tried and true 25% of max cord as your starting point , its has never let me down .

My issues on nose weight was that I added CG gear and made them retract aft in a scale manner big mistake , I should have gone ahead of the CG not back [&o]
