It is nice ,but the oil coolers look to backwards to me, was there any corsairs built with the oil coolers that way? yea, if it was 80" I would get one too, but for now have to build that size. But still a nice looking plane. Could you show a good close up the retracts from a few angles like to see how there made.

For the record , I buy ARFs to bash them , I bought this one to tweek .
So my plans are as follows
1)full interior , possible sliding canopy -100% by hand , but second goal is servo operated linked to flaps servo with arm inside fuse
2)square wells -with doors
3)major wing detail on outer panels and weathering
4)open cowl flaps
5)possible not sure if I will switch the struts out for scale robarts with oleos
6)100% standoff scale retract tail wheel with doors
7)possibe two options -either reframe rudder and elevator to scale or air brush scale "ribs" typically seen pushing thru on the real corsair

I tried to go to Viking Cockpits and got a warning from Google that it is a front for a trojan virus. It did indeed try to install a "Anti-Virus" onto my computer.

Thanks Thomas , now I know what you guys go thru , I too received several Pms on the certain specs so far I have been asked everything but .... to count how many scale rivits the plane has lol
as far as the G26, in case you missed it the G26EI is pictued centered in the one pic, you should be able to hide most of the engine but the plug , so the plane can keep its scale lines .
I dont know the conversion from glow to gas , but in glow and based on my other warbirds I suggest a 4 stroke engine in the 150 to 180 size .
Personally I will select a 180 saito , I like the sound of the engine and reliability .

RE: KMP corsair picture thread
Another excellent airplane from an excellent maker!!
The F4U Corsair was an airplane that was missing in the ARF 1/6th scale ...(I mean in fabulous looks!!)
I really like that KMP/YT are picking real themes for their very well made ARF airplanes.
Here is the Corsair on Jolly Rogers paint scheme....The aircraft was Ira "Ike" Kepfords ..white 29....The USN Corsair Ace. And some more for the history of it...Jolly Rogers was at that time one of the Land based units of US. Navy in the pacific theatre.
I am looking foreword to have this airplane but so far I have to wait long...Unfortunately I live in GR / Europe ...!! I envy you guys for having it sooner...!
Hey Andrew K. How about picking an F6F Hellcat as your next project in the 1/6th scale??? There isn't any real scale of this bird in the market ..... An idea maybe the catmouth Hellcats...of VF-27???
Happy flights
J.R.
P.S. I include some photos of my Byron originals F6F which is I think the best in scale looks than the ones existing today (unfortunately no ARTF F6F of today can beat the Byron's scale looks of the F6F....my humble opinion always. No hard feelings.)
