I'm in the process of building a Ziroli P-40, I bought a set of used robart retracts with pretty worn down tires. I've been looking around a lot so far, but it seams like I can't get these tires replaced.
I know they were originally from Byron, and Iron Bay actually answered my e-mail and confirmed they sell those, but I can't reach anybody from Iron Bay anymore.
I'd like to buy a set of diamond cut treads for my P-40, does anybody know a good source for them? The tire size I'm looking for is 5 1/2"

Dubro makes aluminum CUB hubs in moon style , perfact for making P40 wheels

Gehard....I believe I have a brand new, never used, set of those Byron wheels/tires laying around somewhere. If I can find them, you can have them for the cost of shipping if you will use them. I have had them for many years, and never have used them. No point in them just laying around in my garage. Shoot me a PM and I will try to locate them this weekend and advise you if I can find them.

I can supply you with 5 1/2" wheels for your P40 as long as you are prepaired to accept grooved tread tyres instead of the diamond
tread you mensioned. I produce a full range of wheels for warbirds from 3 1/2" dia, up to 7 1/2" dia in smooth & grooved tread,
