Guys I have a bunch of pics of my MB5 finished. I can't post them because they are too big. Can anyone post them if I send them to you.
Thanks for your help,
Fred

Hey Fred,
try to make them smaller...
open your pctures in paint and save them as .jpg..
If they're already Jpeg's, click on "image" then "stretch/skew.."
then type in how much percent you want them smaller...
hope this helps...

Hi Jakob
My daughter says we don't have that capability. Unfortunately I'm very computer illiterate when it comes to stuff like that. Hopefully will be able to work something out.
Thanks,
Fred

The guys on RCU are fantastic. I have had offers from 3 different people to post these pics. Cliff wyatt AKA Tinman , one of our moderators is hopefully posting them soon. Jakob and Norman you guys are great, and I appreciate your help. Hopefully they will be on soon, there are 17 pics.
Thanks again,
Fred Menna Check6

it does look great...pilot looks a little like RCU's grnbrt..with a mustache..
i do wonder if you are gonna have cooling probs on your motor though...seems like it needs more room for heat to leave...now the big question is when are ya gonna fly?

Hi Cliff,
Again thankyou for posting these for me and for all our fellow Warbird fanatics.

I don't think cooling will be a problem since that whole bottom duct on the airplane is functional, also the scale radiator door is functional, stays open on the ground while taxing and at idle, then closes when the gear goes up. If you check my original posting on the MB 5, you will see all the duct work when the plane was just in glass. I have to install all the radio gear, retract plumbing and engine goodies and do some engine run up tests.
Looking to test fly this around the end of June. I'll keep you posted.
Thanks again,
Fred

Hi guys, thanks for the kind words and encouragement. Rudy your Macchi is going to be an awesome bird!! Pete, I appreciate the encouragement. Todd your Spit is great!!!, looking forward to building mine. Todd, to answer your question, it is Identification Yellow #33538. This was used for trainers, tips of prop blades, markings, and the underside of prototype aircraft. All the paint on the MB is Behr exterior latex, mixed at the Home depot to the exact color chips. Hope this helps. Looking forward to the test flight.
Thanks,
Fred Menna Check6

Fred, what a fine finishing job you've done here. I'm anxious to here the planes flight characteristics, what you think of it's abilities in the air. I think your plane will get a lot of attention at the field. Cockpit shots look great.

Fred! The quality of your work is amazing. After all these years I keep thinking you are going to run out of subjects to model, yet here's another one to knock our socks off! You are the best, buddy. Hope I can see it fly someday. Where's the test flight going to be??? ---Tony I.

Looks really nice. I have an old .60 size MB5 that was designed by Dan Parsons many years ago. A friend of mine gave it to me half glassed along with the retracts. I've always wanted to see what they looked like in color. I can't wait to hear how it flies!

Hi John,
Thanks for the reply. I will be test flying in another week , I hope, weather here has been really lousy. Hey, if you ever want to sell the little MB 5 , let me know. I was thinking of building the original to have a matched pair. Will let everyone know on how the test flight goes.
Thanks,
Fred
