What is the Strongest and best way to install Retracts in a Foam Wing?

At least a 1/4" plywood plate with 1/4" perpendicular dowel arrangement epoxied into the foam works well. Ideally, if you can attach to the leading edge and/or spar (if there is one) that will give additional strength.

Thanx much Ramflyer this is the one I'm going to use. The Dean Pappas method looks good and strong. Yep this is the one,again thanx.
