I have just aquired a Bud Nosen Mustang (101 inch wing) and it had a large engine with the name Gilardoni 1 on the front. It was also inscribed with Made in Canada. The plane looks like it was used in pylon racing as it has no flaps and the engine has a large tuned pipe with it. My question is where can I send the engine to get it checked out. It has no spark plug wire so that will need to be fixed. I have no idea what CC it is and need to see what I'm dealing with. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Phil

Couple of choices:
www.bennettbuilt.com
or
www.rcignition.com
You may also try CH Ignition (they can set you up with spark, but not sure what, if any, engine repair work they do (if needed):

Definitely a Q-100 with a crude hall sensor mounted up to a sawed off magneto. Has no plug wire as it needs a C-h unit or a flywheel re installed. Can help you with this if you send a note to my regular mail account posted.
