Default Control Surface Hardware

Hi guys I am building a CMP p-51 and was wondering if I should use the plastic hardware that came with it for the control surfaces or buy metal clevis'? I don't have much experience with CMP so I'm just wondering whether or not the plastic hardware is reliable. Thanks.

I've got a CMP F6F coming and I'll be throwing all the hardware away and using only Du-Bro hardware. I'll be powering it with a gasoline engine, so there will be extra stress on it. I've trusted Du-Bro hardware for 25 years now.
