RE: Ziroli B25 101
I'm working on rebuilding one this winter. It had a rough meeting with a flightline pole at Warbirds over the Rockies. Was my friends plane then. He's working on a larger project so I made a deal with him on it and I'm going to repair it for next year.
It looks rougher then it is but I started cutting out some formers tonight and I plan to have another friend help me get the fuse re-aligned and together tomorrow.

kram,
Warbirds Over Oklahoma is a war bird event I started 6 years ago if you count the year of planning prior to the first event held at my local club field, Westside RC Flyers, Yukon Oklahoma in May of 2005. It has grown each year to the point where I had to move it to a new location, the City of El Reno Regional Aiport to allow the event to expand. This location is about thirty minuets North of Chickasha. Last year we had 65 pilots registered to fly and it was only a one day event. This year, who knows with a three day event.
Hope to see you here.

Time to bring this thread back to the front of this list!! Hey Warbirdrcer you still droppin in here. Been awhile since I've had anything new to add, but have made some progress on the bird, here's some pictures. Don't know how the rivets one will show up, but would like to have some honest opinions on how they look.

Here's some more rivet pics. Pretty well finished with the flush rivets, started on the mushroom heads. This is my first time for rivets would like some feedback on them. "They suck" or "looks good" let me hear from ya, I got thick skin, I can take it! lol

Its more or less a memorial. Fellow flying buddy had a brother-in-law that was killed in WWII when the B25 he was in went down. It was "Seabiscuit". Was just the olive drab color, part of the 345th Bomb squadron I believe. Tail number 6023. Here is the tail art.
