Default messy shop area

With the balsa wood flying over last week I have to nominate myself for the messiest shop.

Looks like a perfectly normal non-arf shop to me... you've still got a lot more work to do before you need a broom in there...

If compared to my work space, my wife would consider that to be neat and tidy.[8D]

And open bench space! :P Been organizing my building areas so I can get a jump on the building season and maybe spend less of it in the colder garage and more in the slightly warmer basement this winter.

I must be in the running for a prize!
The realy messy workshop with all the dead aircraft in is my old workroom that i grew out of.
2 shots of my living room the TA152 is so large i dont have any where else to store it.
My daughter left home so i migrated to her room where the TA is getting new Sierra legs.

The above pics are all fine examples of what a good shop should look like. [sm=thumbs_up.gif]

A friend spent a week cleaning and painting his shop. The floor has a new coat of epoxy. The walls and ceiling have a fresh coat of white. He even cleaned the nicotine from his light fixtures !

I couldn't work in a shop such as his. Every time I dropped/spilled something, I'd figure that it would need to be cleaned up immediately. I'd be spending more time, keeping the shop clean, than building.

Personally, I feel that if I can still see the floor, the shop is clean. LOL

With me it's a function of how long I spend looking for something I know I have and use all the time but can't find...

Yes Jeff it is. Alot that is on the floor is simply balsa blocks for the LE and the tip that was carved away that isn't part of the 190.

Its nice to have a mess, its a good thing my planes are not allowed in the house that would be messy too.

I only clean up when I drop something on the floor and cant find it.

I just cleaned mine last weekend. I used a leaf blower to get all the dust out It took about 30 minutes to blow all the dust out the door before I started to use the shop vacuum. Now it's ready for the next project.

I organize all the time and five minutes later after I work in there the place is a mess! I try and try to keep it clean but no way am I able to do it, if someone has a system that works please share it! My shop is in the house, it was the master bedroom that my daughters shared and when the last one moved out I turned it into a shop, shop light power tools the works!

AAAHHH, no Arfs in this thread. You guys are the best. Unfortunately, my camera refuses to take a pic of my shop till the mess is cleaned up. Leave it to me to purchase a female camera, of all the luck. Keep building guys, we'll put those Arf companies out of business yet.
