Warbirds over Virginia Beach Sep 19-20th
This is a unique event in that it is being held at the Military Aviation Museum at Pungo in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The Museum is affiliated with the fighter factory that refurbishes antique aircraft and opened just over a year ago and features many WWI and WWII aircraft including a P-51, Corsair, P-40, B-25, PBY Catalina, P-39, Spitfire, Skyraider, TBM Avenger among others. The landing fee for all pilots is $20 and includes admission to the museum. Details can be found at www.flytrc.com. You can also check out the museum's web site at www.militaryaviationmuseum.org or www.fighterfactory.com. All type warbirds are welcome. RV's welcome but no hook-ups are available.

I'm always in the area. Went to the museum in May, they really have a nice place. I'll be in town this weekend, but not next, otherwise I definitely woulda come. Their grass runway would make a great flying field.
