My 90" P-38 at a 4-stroke rally today

It was breezy and on this landing, I had a cross wind, but this plane flies great and is easy to recover with. I had full flaps.

I put her up four times. One flight was with a Corsair including a formation take off. It went well.

Very, Nice bash! I followed your thread, when your building/fixing the P-38. I'm in the same process of dong a major bash on the NitroPlanes Sia-Marchetti SF260.

nice recovery,sounded like one engine was on the rich side on the inverted pass probably the engine on the low wing

Kind of deceiving because you had a clear sound shot at one pipe, but the other was blocked by the fuselage. Actually, they run very close to each other now. Even better since I replaced the stock mufflers with TurboHeaders. The adjustment is within one click of each other. They will vary slightly throughout the flight and I think this may be due to variations in how the air enters the cowls in different attitudes.

Here's the link to my build of the Marchetti! I just have to get some funds together for some trailing link oleo struts. Shindin Machine has some that I'll probably use!
