Default P-47 D model kit.

I have an aging P-47 Razorback, TFGS, and for a winter build project would like to continue with a D model in my Warbird hanger.........Age and health problems make months of stick and glue a problem now, so I'd like some input on a glass fuse kit. I've seen the Yellow, but it's only an 80" WS, and would like something a bit larger, but within the confines of a 62cc engine. Any suggestions on this subject would be greatly appreciated..

Meister Scale makes a wonderful P-47 and a fantastic glass fuse for it. Its a big boy, but the 62CC engine should be able to fly it just fine.

You can get the plane here: http://www.meister-scale.com/Thunder...underbolt.html

Dino and PJ are great people too, with customer service second to none.

Ty Brown does some great work and he has a fiberglass fuse for the Top Flite P-47. Check out his site here: http://www.tysplanes.com/fiberglass_fuses

Vin.....thank you for another great option... One comment I'd like to add........most of the cockpit canopy's are unattractive , and far from scale...

For a reasonable but decent cockpit kit check out Aerotech models. They also have great detail additions for the exterior of the plane also. http://www.aerotechmodels.com/P47%20...kpit%20kit.htm

The aerotech items are very impressive..Thank you for the addresses.....I was also interested in a scale like cockpit canopy... The Razorback was easy to duplicate, but the bubbletop varies greatly from model to model...

I talked with Wayne S. the former owner and they are working on new canopies that should fit the Top FLight Mustang and P-47. Hopefully we see them soon.
