I have the engines, I think I'll be ordering the kit finally the next week or two - I just have to get one other project out of the way. I've been scouring the web and sites for info, I can't seem to find many options for retracts for something this small. I was thinking of building my own - and I can't seem to find much reference there either. Anyone know a good source of info for manufacturing your own scale retracts? I have four OS FS40s to go in - I was thinking of a single main tank pumping to sm header tanks, seemed pretty good way to deal with the lack of room with the gear, but I haven't seen any reference to anyone trying this. There are no new ideas, anyone have a link? Any thoughts or suggestions are appreciated!

At 96" it's slightly under 1:16 scale from the wingspan. If we go by length, we're at 1:13th.

I've found several links for wingspan kits, Ziroli plans for gear/accessories at 1:10 and 1:8, but that's why I figured I'd be making my own at the small size this is. There is a reference to offered retracts on the page:
RR-750 Retract set (with Oleo Struts) 325.00

However I was looking for options, and like I said, interested in making my own as I haven't managed to find even a picture of the offered retracts.

Thank you for the input. I have read through that sm thread several times. That four year old thread uses the wing mfg referenced Robarts and I was looking for new options. There is also a great thread here:

a slightly newer thread, however retracts not used, only a couple of comments on century and spring-air

Perhaps I'll just jump in and figure it out on the way...
