Looking for information on the proper setup for concealled elevator linkages. I have an idea of connecting the elevators with a rod and adding a control horn but not sure if that's the best approach.

Brodak has a nice selection of these control horns. I have one in my B-25.

although our kits now come with an internal horn affair, in the past, i too have used the brodak ones, loads of differant shapes, good heavy duty stuffgets my vote

I can offer you a machined 1/4" aluminum elevator horn with stell pins that we use for our Me109 and Fw190 kit. I believe it will work with your project. Distance between pins is 2.5"

Thanks gents, loads of good information here. After looking closer at the plans I found that the designer uses an internal control setup for the elevators. I've got to get my tri focals soon [:'(]
It looks a lot like the one in the Corsair build. I might just buy one to avoid the hassle of the metal work, although it's all a part of the whole experiance isn't it.
Thanks JGrc, for the offer, but I looked at your web site and most of your creations are a size smaller than the bird I'm working on. I'm not sure would be large enough for my application.
I have to get the cockpit done before I go much further on the fuse, it'll give me more time to think about what I'm going to do.

yes. No bearing needed. The ply center hinge gets a coat of Cyano. No much load there, also the rest of the hinges help.

If you provide some dimentions I can run a few elevator horns with center bearing for your bird. I have other requests for Ziroly Hellcat, P47, etc need to fulfill.
