Default DH-98 Mosquito Builders needing retracts.

OK im posting this in regards to Mosquito builders who have been trying to get retracts made for your large mosquito. Just got off the phone yesterday with a guy from sierra retracts. He told me if i could find 6 people that would say they needed some retracts made for their mosquito that he would drop the price from $2500 too $1000. If your interested in getting some retracts made and your not wanting to spend the 2500 for the retracts. Post here so we can get a group of guys together that will call and request some mosquito retracts to be made.

1000 sounds a lot better than 2500

email me if you interested or post here.

I bought the don smith gear on rcu a while back. Typical of century gear, it will need a extra work to keep it tight. If I had to do it again, I wouldn't. If you have seen my Typhoon gear you would understand.

hmm i thought they looked pretty good from the planes i have seen with them. The guy at century said to just measure the nacelle and send him the measurement and he would work with you to make sure the retracts are just right.

Considering i was going with sierra at first but now im getting a better deal with century.

Thanks for the tip.

yeah i bought it at monaville.

pretty good deal in my opinion he did a real good job. All that's left to do is put the U.S. Red tail paint scheme on, scale canopy almost complete, retracts, scale working exhaust, scale engine covers, Bomb bay doors, Bomber Nose, and retract doors

retract doors and and bombay doors are nearly complete

added im going to install bombay side windows and a bomber bottom hatch.

Curious to know what powerplants you are going to use. Personally,I would put the co2 guns in the front to shoot BB's. Turkey vultures at our field would be a great target!!!!!

Hmm thats a hard one. The guy i bought the plane from said he flew it with Zenoah 62's but thats a hard decision.

Cause sure you can fly a plane with 2 engines but what if one dies would the other be enough to pull the plane and keep it flying long enough to land. Thats why i was steering more towards 2 85cc.

Either DA or MT.

So its kind of an iffy question.

Although i am getting a custom exaust made that actually works and looks just like the scale exaust with the headers coming out the side of the plane.
