RE: Japanese pilot figures
Not sure who sells them but shoot me a P.M. if your interested this. It's left over from a 88" span KI-100. The plane did not survive the dogfight, but the pilot lives on.

Here's a good source for 1/6 scale action figures:
http://www.monkeydepot.com/Boxed_Figures_s/73.htm
They have a few nice looking Japanese figures too.

1)my bluebox german pilot is the most disappointing part of my FW190 model , he does not look German and no head hear , just an officiers hat .
Plus Bluebox comes in around 8plus oz , you need to make them lighter

RE: Japanese pilot figures
Platt may not have any left and they are heavy but detailed. I use Vailly Officer and Gentlemen or my favorite Aces of Iron busts which are detailed and light with painting required.

Lighten up the Blue Box/21st Century products by stripping off the clothes and craving replacement arms, legs, torso, etc. from foam. Apply a coat of resin to harden the foam surface and redress. Reattach the plastic head and hands only.
