GWS P-38 w/e-flite park 450s question
Hello all,
I'm hoping someone can offer me some advice. I am building a GWS P-38 with the same power setup from my old E-flite P-38 (2 Park 450 brushless motors, 2 25 amp speed controllers). The problem is that E-flite no longer makes the 10x8 propellers and 10 x 8 reverse rotation props.
Can anyone recommend another company that makes an electric 10x8 and 10x8 reverse rotation, or a similar size and pitch? Would a 9x7 work?

If you want to use the landing gear on the GWS, you will have to make custom gear to accommodate a 10 in. prop. Even a 9 in. prop is pushing it and a hard landing will raze the prop on the ground. Belly landing will be OK though.
Other than that, why not just run regular props. on both sides? That's what I do with mine, and there are no torque problems. You could try APC 10x7 or even 9x9 e-props. GWS also makes 10x8 props but they're on the flimsy side. Great Planes makes a 10x7 e-prop as well.
