Default building

Building was very good once you got past the instructions, a little confusing. It helps to have built a few kits previous to this. The hardware pack is a little less than desired 'quality'. Outer wing panels are foam sheeted which helps with time, the only thing that took some time was the strip planking on the fuse. Cowls are plastic but alot stiffer than the ones we're used to. I glassed mine but it could be covered with covering material. It has a great sound and cruises about half throttle. Nice plane over all, and no bad habits that I've found so far.

Default RE: building

Looks great, Lee.

Did your kit include information on control throws and CG? The one I bought a couple of years ago (different distributor) didn't include any. I e-mailed Mantua but didn't get a response. There was a review of the kit in R/C Model World last January and they had the same problem. The calculations they came up with were off and they had quite a wild test flight. It caused me to put mine on hold. I'm glad to have found someone who has flown one and likes the way it flies!
