As the title says....... in you opinion who makes the most true to scale warbird were the zero is concerned , were we can say would is still readily available for purchase be it a Kit or ARF , please feel free to chime in your reasons on why you picked your selection I would love to get as much feed back as possible

From what I can rembember DAVE PLATT probably designed the most accurate Zero. You can still purchase the fibergflass parts, and canopy and some other parts plus plans and have a kit cut from pck. Other then his I would say Yellow aircraft which was designed by Burt Baker some years ago.

I would love to hear you guys opinions on why you feel one is more scale looking then the other , point out the short comings and strengths for me , I would love to get some more input

Hello Zero, Here are a few new pics of the Dave Platt Zero that I am currently repainting. I think a more detailed cowl would be nice on the Platt Zero. I you want gun ports you have to do these mods yourself. I am working on these as I go. I will post more on my thread, Dave Platt Zero Makeover, I have both the Bert Baker and Dave Platt, I do'nt think you can beat either one of them. Capt. Winters

Thanks for chiming in Chad , and yes I agree with you as well and voted the same way for the same reason , all of the choices listed above have there plus and minus, part of the reason I did this was to see what you all thought and why , this feedback is great ! keep it coming guys
