Hi all! Does anyone have any info on this model? It is a Flight Models Hellcat sold by Troy Built Models. They currently have them on clearancre. Sorry no picture. I cannot find any info on this plane.

Flight Model F6F Hellcat 70" ARF $59 shipping via UPS Ground in the continental US - Must call for air shipping quotes.
Wing Span: 70" / 1776mm
Length: 53.5" / 1360mm
Wing Area: 53.2sq.dm
Flying Weight: 4500g
Radio: 5-6 Channels, 6-7 Servos

Looks like a CMP clone. There is a long thread on it here on RCU. It's a decent plane but the wing is oversized for the fuse. It takes some work to make it look good but it can be done.

I would ask about spare parts - if its on clearance TBD may not keep spares on hand, assuming they even have them now.

Ed, thanks for the reply! I have decided against getting this one. If I am going to get one it will either be the CMP original or the ESM hellcat.

It's not an arf but take a look at this kit from Chad Veich.

It about the same size as the CMP but some better lines to it.
