Default CMP ME109 Scale Factor

Is this model considered 1/6 or 1/5 scale factor. I did the math numerous times and the numbers are saying 1/5 scale. My gut feeling tells me otherwise. I need an experts' opinion before I start buying accessories such as a pilot or cockpit interior. Any help would be appreciated.

The Bf 109F wingspan is 9.92M which is 390.55" give or take a little.

The wingspan of the CMP is 73"

73/390.55 = is .187 or 18.7% so its a little bit smaller than 1/5th scale. or 1/5.35 to be exact.

Check out Ty's planes. He has made a cockpit kit exactly for this model and also offers a "safe" (i.e. the stock spinner has disintegrated on a number of different occasions) replacement spinner, and clearer canopy.

Thanks

The problem /benifit of CMP is that there scale is off but in a good way .IN many cases as Evil has shown there somewhat smaller they 1/5 but the fuse is typically close to 1/5 in width .
My CMP Fw190 has a SisT canopy on it that is 1/5 scale .
My CMP P40 has a 1/5 scale interior in it .
