I'm with you, Tim. I was diagnosed hypertensive at 24. 168/108 bp, stroke range. I was looking at death at 24, scary stuff. Lost 50 lbs, I'm now at 130/85.

Do it!

Glad you came through all right and yes it is scary. I just got home from the hospital thursday, another heart attack and I have to lose some weight, lower my sugar level and the hardest, the cigarettes. Just take it one day at a time and you should be just fine but do what they tell you to do!!!!!

Hi Tim and Art... I really hope every thing goes ok with you two from here on out healthwise.
Tim... I read where you are going to see the B17 and the Liberator. It has to be the Nine'O'Nine and The Dragon and his Tail. They came to Birmingham about 3 months ago and MAN!!! What a sight!! I was about 30 foot from them when they fired up their engines to take the paying customers on a 30 minute ride. It was sight and sound I'll never forget.
Now.... if you and Art where good people, you would buy me a ride on either one( it doesnt matter which plane you want to pay for!!) for my birthday next time they come to town-- its only $350. I'll let you know when they come back to B'ham !!!! LOL And my birthday is in November.
Here's praying and best wishes to the both of you for a speedy recovery. John

A ride for $400, the B-24 and the B-17 are sitting about 3 miles from me. Can I get a ride in either of them for the $? How long is the ride? I would gladly shell out the $ to be able to do it just one time.
