Zero engine
Can any one suggest a radial engine to suit a CM Pro/Hobbyking A6M Zero. It is suggested for a 40-50- CC Gas engine. The model is 2100 w.s., wt.is 6.5 Kg approx. I have had a look at the Saito FA-325R5D (53cc) glow 5 cylinder radial but it would be pretty tight in the cowl, which is 220 inside diameter and the Saito engine is 205 diameter, not including any onboard glow fittings or any other anclliaries. Any suggestions as to what I could use would be greatly appreciated. I would preder to use a radial if one the right size is available, or otherwise a twin cylinder
Thanks, :) |

try the ASP 400 radial. There is a thread dedicated to this motor . There is a guy flying one in a tFGS P47. They have their quality issues on some of the older models but they have a loyal following , the cost is low and tey appear to be easy to work and learn on. Check it out
