RE: first warbird
If you go fuel, the Hangar 9 P-51 PTS is it. Just take all the training junk off it, the flywheel weight off the prop hub, ad a 11-5 or so apc,and spinner, and it'll fly like crazy. E-flite, just try a Parkzone P51, or FW-190, both are a blast to play with, I love the 190 on a low fly-by.

RE: first warbird
Your best bet is Parkzone. A rtf 4ch elec warbird is really a tall order.

ORIGINAL: skull1971 Your best bet is Parkzone. A rtf 4ch elec warbird is really a tall order. Look here: Venom P-51 4 channel. If you have a 4 ch radio already, only need that and a lipo battery. The brushless engine, speed control, servos are all already installed. http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products...rodID=VNRF6103 video here of both the Zero and the P-51 http://www.venom-aircorps.com/videos/Park_Fighters.wmv There are also places that do sell a modifed version of the GWS Spitfire ready to fly with everything including a TX on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/Radio-Remote-4CH...QQcmdZViewItem |

If you are looking for a small electic, RTF out of the box, I went with the Park Zone FW190. It flys pretty good with the installed equipment and comes with a 3 channel transmitter.
I've just finished replacing the servos and receiver in mine so I can fly it off my regular radio. If you want to see what I changed out, have a look at my models.
