panel lines

Hi builders
I am putting panel lines and rivets dots on my yellow zero, i have only been able to get
1/32 graphgic tape. is that going to be to big, or is it just fine. Ian

1/64 inch chart pack tape would be your better solution. This size simulates a 1/8 inch gap between panels on a 1/6th scale bird (which is what the Yellow is).

1/32 inch chart pack tape is a bit large. This size simulates a 3/16 inch gap between panels on a 1/6 scale bird.

You can buy 1/64 inch chart pack tape here. http://www.rcscaleproducts.com/finish_acc.htm

Good luck.

Bluff, fwiw I recently discovered I could use a 15 watt soldering iron with a fine pencil tip to create very good panel lines in my primered plane, using a metal ruler with a cork backing for a straightedge. I haven't seen this used before, so I don't know what others experience may be.......but it works for me.
