well i didnt know people were doing warship boats that shoot at each other and sink to, but what happens to the electronics when it sinks? is it a total loss? and is there rools you have to abide by or can somone come out with a armord unsinkable ship and lay wast to the others. this is verry interesting i live on a lake and have considered nitro powered boats for a while but just couldnt get interested but this type of thing might work for me.

Well if you can't sink a boat, why would you put your boat in to even try?
While we are not building submarines, they are constucted to go under water every thing is protected, and a ship can be patched up and fighting in as little as 8 minutes if cared for properly.
There are plenty of rules, you just have to find out which scale club is located nearest to you.

SuperTigre --
another thing to know is that the rules define what it means to sink... and although the rules say that you may not prevent your boat from being able to sink, they also say that a is considered to have sunk if, for instance, it's decks are completely awash. So according to the rules, the boat can sink without you having to search for a completely submerged hulk.
also, people do sometimes build floating buoys into their ships (for instance you could have the suerstructure highly boyant and attach it to the hull with heavy chord) to make recovery easier if the hull is entirely submerged -- in addition to waterproofing the equipment compartment as Umi said.

Unfortunately, not biodegradable.
They're strandard BBs... which at least is things like steel and copper so at least it's not the heavy metal stuff they used to be made of.

Not sure about the setup up there in The Great White North... in the U.S. the big discount department stores like WalMart have air guns and BBs and sporting goods stores have all kinds of guns and related paraphernalia.
