Can you identify this ship?? :)
Hi All,
I'm a new builder in the "fast gun" hobby. Just got sunk this last weekend at Ice Breaker 2006 in Chanhassen, MN. It was great. The ship in the picture is modeled after a dreadnought built in 1915, can you name her?? I omitted details, since they have a tendancy to get shot off the ship. I watch the post and let you know if you get it right.

The cage mast makes one think US, but the mid turrets in echelon not so much. The hull looks early British influence to me. Kind of like Rashedia/Erin. I am guessing one of the Argentinian ships, Moreno or Rivadavia?
Nicely done, regardless.

Hi,
Nice ship, I am a big fan of cage mast battleships.
I believe Wreno is correct Rivadavia Class a US built
12 12" battleship. I think the Moreno was the second ship completed.
Any more pictures from the battle? (damage shots)

You are absolutely correct!! I wanted to build something a little different, this is the result. Unfortunately, don't have any operational guns on board yet. Brings a whole new meaning to sea trials and thanks for the compliment. I built the ARA Rivadavia completely from scratch, hull too. The only thing that's not correct are the turrents. I used turrents from a Moltke kit that I have on hand. I,ll be making the correct turrents from fiberglass later this fall. Sorry, I don't have any pictures from Ice Breaker, but it was fun!!

Hey, you are Paul right? I'm really bad with names. I'm Ryan i was there to, i had the Yamato. The Rivadavia looks pretty good. I'm trying to get my hands on a Von Der Tann so i will probably be fighting next battle. heres some pics of the Ice Breaker 2006 battle.

I realized last night who you were, when I saw the Yamato pictures. Nice pictures of Ice Breaker. I really like the one of that sinister dark colored ship. haha )
