How do I delete a post

You can't.

You can report it with a note describing the circumstances and if warranted one of the moderators may delete it.

The triangle with the ! mark on the lower left corner of the post is the report button.

I agree, you should be able to delete your own posts......... And if someone posts something you don't like on your thread then you should have to ask to have it removed....
