what are some good shock upgrades for the rs10xt

What are you looking for them to do. Longer travel, stiffer, softer, You can change the springs for different effects.

Longer Travel, i would look at something like integry savage or t maxx shocks, or stock stocks for the savage and t maxx. Craigslist seems to be a good place to spot them also. I just bought a full set of hpi savage shocks with extra springs for mine for 25 bucks.

How do you plan and mounting your new shocks?  If you want to mount them to the axles, go with either Losi of Axial 4" (100mm) aluminum shocks.</p>

Im awaiting my order of carbon fiber plate im going to adjust the frame with little more length, but yeah planned on moving to the mount closer to the axle. Will be a fun project truck to tinker with in spare time. Not a top priority atm as race season is just a few weeks away.
