I have had plenty fun with the Earthquake but now I think I want to turn it into the buggy. Is this a fairly complicated process or can I just grab some parts and change it over.?

pretty sure the shock towers and suspension are all the same.
need the body, wheels/tires
the 17mm wheel hub(fits over the stock stub axle)
wing mount parts and wing
front body post and rear body post
front bumper(or get the t-bone racing bumper)
should be a fairly easy conversion, just alittle wrench time.

if you decide you want to do the conversion, PM me and ill give you a price for everything. it looks like alot, but most of the parts are small and dont cost much. the wheels/tires and body are the most costly of the bunch.
