Default Clear side on 8e backdraft

Anyone else having trouble with there breaking very easy. I have mine running this weekend and noticed now 3 cracks top to bottom on the one side and 2 on the other. I know they are thin plastic, anyone else having this trouble. Might take and remount my esc to the upper area and move receiver and little box down where the esc is .

a small part on the front broke on the right side. dont really see alot of point in them myself. not on the earthquake anyway.
maybe on the BD with its tight fitting body it helps keep dirt out.

Mine broke on that side as well. I ordered another set and when they got here, it seemed as though they are a bit more thick than the ones that came on it. Before mounting the new ones I lined the inside of them with duct tape.

smart ideal with the duct tape. i took mine off waiting for parts to see if i can configure it to where i would position esc up on the upper, but afraid it might toss cog off.
