Default super noob question!

I hi folks! My name is carlo im from Palatine il just outside of Chicago...I recently purchased a redcat S30 for a $100 from a fallen soldier's family after I bought it, i brought it straight to my local hobby shop and had it tuned. I was informed that it needed a one way bearing..but unfortunatly the hobby shop didnt carry redcat racing products, so i couldnt get the car running when i got home I was wondering if i can used HPI or traxxas' one way bearing to get it up and running? I'm super excited to get it running!! thanks for the help!!!

Welcome to the forums Carlos.. Unfortunetly the Volcano S30 uses a Sh. 18 which has an internal one way bearing so you would need to get the one way bearing for the SH. 18. The HPI or the Traxxas will not work..

I sell them on my site.. Link is http://urchobby.com/proddetail.php?prod=TS005

if you need any other help you can email me at [email protected] be glad to help you out..

Again Welcome to the forums. Kurt

The Volcano and the Tornado use the same motor. SH 18.

I have the SH18 in my Shockwave. Love it.
