Default Redcat Hop up kit (Sv & S30)

Hi ya'll, I am getting a volcano s30 for my birthday at the end of the month and the suspense is killing me lol. Anyways I was wondering how well the Hop Up kit for the Volcano S30 works? how tough are those parts? would it be a good investment?

The hopup kit isn't too bad of a deal. The only thing you have to remember is this. If you put on aluminum it's going to change the break point to some where else. I.E. if you put on aluminum A-Arms it's going to change the break point to where the A-Arm connects to the chassis (much more of a pain in the rear to replace) also if you bend the aluminum parts, you can't bend them back. Aluminum hubs are a good investment, they're normally pretty tough and very rarely bend. The aluminum exhaust actually does give a boost of power to the engine. Over all it's a good kit, but I wouldn't personally use the A-Arms.

from personal experience. i have the Shockwave. the hop up kit was a good invetment for my car. i do recommend looking into some aluminum shockproof planks. they bend way to easy.
if u might be looking into the aluminum upper plate it going to be a pain to work with the batter and the switch.

Ok, Ya i am not sure about doing the upper plate especially now that I see how it can be  a pain with the battery
