Default Earthquake E8 Battery box size

What is the battery box max dimensions for the E8? Planning on ordering one but want some better batteries to go with out modifications to the box.

The first thing we did was lose the hard plastic battery clips. Cut slots in the battery tray and put velcro on, saves a ton of headaches and ANY car type 2S battery will fit. I think they only thing we did was cut some reliefs in at the end of the tray for wires to not get crimped.

I did the same thing foir my earthquake. the plastice "hold-downs" were a pain in the butt. Velcro works much better and easier. And I too, use gens ace batteries.

I have 2 types of batteries:

At 139x46x26mm, they're a little long and wide. They fit but especially with the wires coming out the end they're a pain.

138x46x25mm, very minor difference but much easier to deal with. The battery terminals coming out the top is a huge plus.

Ihave velcro on one side and use the plastic tiedown for the other. I actually don't care much for the velcro.

Thanks for all the replies. Just trying to get all my ducks in a row before i make an order.

Any idea on a balance adapter to charge 2 packs at the same time?
