hey guys, i have another question regarding my caldera 3.0. i can start the engine up easily enough, but as soon as i take the glow igniter off of the glow plug, the engine dies. i'm assuming this may just be a faulty glow plug, so i have bought two new glow plugs, but have yet to try either of them out. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

could mean its too rich. and the glow igniter is keeping the plug alittle extra hot and thus helping combustion.
or there could be a vacume leak somewhere. check fuel lines, exhaust pipe ect.
if you try adjusting the carb, before you do make a note of the current settings. that way, if changing the carb settings doesnt help....the problem is elsewhere and your tune was fine. so you can re-set the carb the way it was and check other areas.
also, when you changed the plug, did you remember to put the washer on?

I had the same problem on my avalanche xp. It ended up being to rich. Also check your fuel tank cap. it could cause air leakes if it is not closed tight.
