Default LIPO in Lightning EXP Pro

Can my son run a 7.4V 5800 30C lipo in the lightning EXP Pro with no modifications to the motor settings? Someone told him today that he needed to change some settings on the motor and I dont have a clue how to nor can i find anything in the owners manual.

Thanks and Merry Christmas / Happy New Year!

Yes, you can. But you will need to watch the temps like a hawk. Do not let me just hold it wide open all the time. I have been running a 5000 30C 2S on my Volcano EPX Pro for sometime with no issue's.

It is going to be WAY WAY faster over stock.<br type="_moz" />

yep, its all ready for a 2s lipo.
You wont have temp issues...unless its over 90 degrees outside.
The lightening is very fast on 2s lipo.
