I also am waiting for reviews on this truck. Looks badass but nothing to compare it to yet. Need to know how it stacks up against the e maxx and hpi savage flux people!!!!

I havent driven the new XTE's myself (hey, im poor!)
but i can say 2 things
1) the ESC/motor/lipo combo has some serious power. its basically the same combo used in the 8e's (same ESC, but a lower KV motor)
2) the XTE's are based on the nitro XTR's chassis...which is by far redcat's best nitro line.
So, you take a good brushless system and put it on a true 1/8 scale modified nitro chassis.....That can only result in a nice truck.
The XTE's are a bit heavier than the 8e's, but im pretty sure they will still do 40-45MPH...as the lighter 8e's can do 50mph.
