Getting back into the hobby and decided to buy a Mirage. I'm new to Lipos, brushless, and Redcat. Are there any out of the box mods I should look into. I see Redcat lists a number of V2 parts. Any way to tell if my model has them? Not all have pics.
Thank you,
David

I have an exo terra, basicly the same only cost like 100 more lol.
the only ive done is new gmade shocks. Idk if it has the same nose dive problem the exo has/had, I put 40wt oil in the front and 50wt in the back. That fixed it.
Go on youtube and search it and see if anyone has videos of theirs.
As for lipos, they need to be maintained. The mirage come with a 3s lipo. The esc on that should be set to cut off b4 it over drains it. Get a good charger like the thunder ac680 its like 55$ and does everything.
If u need more info just ask

Thanks zackS30. I've read all about the lipos and figured I'd need a better charger than stock. I assume the ESC has a LVC; there is no manual for the ESC, so I have no idea what it is. I've read all the reviews and knew this model wasn't exactly popular, but it was in my price range - $230 on amazon
