Backdraft center diff
Well, I found out the hard way that the center differential is NOT sealed on the Backdraft. I recently swapped out the grease in all 3 diff's for silicone oil, as well as all 3 in my OFNA. Last night I went to start tinkering with the Backdraft and discovered a large puddle of oil under it. After a quick inspection I noticed it was coming from the center diff and tore into it. Low and behold it was nearly empty, and I filled it up. There goes nearly 1/4 bottle of 5000wt oil down the drain, lol.
Has anyone else tried diff oil in the center diff housing on the Backdraft? I looked on Redcat's website and noticed that it said it comes with 2 sealed differentials, which leads me to believe only the front and rears are sealed. If anyone has sealed their center diff, what did you do to seal it?
