Steel spur gear for 1/8 terremoto ?
Have a 1/8 terremoto , the plastic spur keeps getting stripped by the brass pinion gear. Usually gotta replace every couple runs . It's all stock minus 4000 mah packs .. anyone else have issues with the spur on this truck ? The 1/10 terremoto I see runs a steel spur but it's to small for the 1/8 😞

According to the Redcat website , that is a Mod 1.5 pitch gear .
That makes it hard as it is a pitch not used very often .
Is your gear mesh ok ?
Are you doing lots of roll back wheelies ?
It may be possible to make the 1/10 gears fit , hard to say without the cars in front me , but you may end up breaking the next weakest part in the drivetrain .

Well I bought the 1/10 gear and it was alot smaller .. I mean maybe if I adjust the motor all the way it may work , but my thoughts exactly the next plastic piece will go then lol as far as the stock spur and mesh the motor can only be in one position , if I move it to any other hole on the motor plate it won't fit. Not doing any reverse/forward stuff. Actually feel like I'm going easy on it really , could def be going harder IMO .
