All,
I bought Redcat Blackout XBE about a year ago and even though I've had quality issues I LOVE it!
I have replaced my brushed motor with a castle sidewinder brushless system and it rips. My problem is top end speed. Can anyone help me with a gearing set up? I have tried to find replacement/ aftermarket pinion and spur gear but can not find something to extend my top end speed. Any suggestions would be GREAT!

I haven't put the speedo on my XBE Pro with 3s Lipo, but the 2s lipo was clocked at 34mph and the 3s lipo gets a little scary at full speed. I'm guessing it's 50mph with stock setup on 3s lipo. Mine is probably 60mph or more with the larger tires/wheels I have on it. I still have the stock spur/pinion gears. I upgraded the tires to Proline Badlands MX2.8. They're about 5" diameter as compared to the 3.8" diameter of the stock tires. I'll try to do a speed run today and post the results. Been raining here though so not sure if I'll be able to get a speed run in. If I wreck the car, I can repair it, but I use my iphone for a speedo and can't quite repair that yet.
