Terremoto 10 V2 ESC fans and 3S LiPos
I am getting started in RC cars and got one for me and one for my son. Mine is a Terremoto 10 V2 and I have two 2S batteries. Just a few days ago I purchased a 3S battery and it certainly gives it a big speed bump. The ESC is rated for 2S or 3S batteries but there is a note on it that the fan should be upgraded to a 12v unit if running 3S LiPo batteries.
So, I saw a few fans for RC cars online but I am not sure what size the stock fan is. Can anyone assist a newbie with a fan size question and also with any advice related to the fan upgrade? I understand the need for the larger fan but is that for sustained running of multiple 3S battery sessions back to back or if I run one then resume my 2S operation is the heat going to be an issue?
