Hello everyone, I wanted to see if you guys could give me any suggestions on what brushed motor I can buy for my car. I have a blackout xte (brushed version) and I want to buy a new motor because I blew 3 already. They were all the stock ones that come with the car. I upgraded the pinion gear from a 18 or 19 steel teeth to a 23 teeth brass pinion. And or if you guys can also give me an explanation as to why my motors blew that would also be helpful.

My nephew blew his motor and I realized it has the same motor that is in most power drills like the Milwaukee, Ryobi and basically any drill. I replaced his blown motor with a drill motor and it runs like it did with previous motor.
