got my lightning today[>:]...this is a totally diff bread of rat then my hurricane...guessing I wount be running a hump back..lol...not quite figured out how im gonna mesh the spur's to the clutch bell..everythings pretty tight...I cant even see were they mesh..lol..but overall looks like a nice car..still to cold to break in so I got plenty time to get this baby ready..

you will like it, i like mine alot. just feel the mesh, you dont have to see it, just a little play between the gears. you can fit the hump back in it, i do in all my cars.

yeah trust me youll lvoe the lightning. Its an awesome car for the price. I recommend it for any on road car and to everybody. I promise you get a kick out of it.

started break in on my new lightning....if ya aint got one these ya need one...fun lil car..easy to get runnin...might actually leave the pull start on ...thanks redacat for making such a great lil car...

I forgot to mention inexpensive...I got a great deal on mine..anyways...like I said..if u aint got one get one..now I just cant wait for my new body and wheels..lol...gots me some inexpensive alluminum shocks too..[>:]

ok..its broke in and runnin good....however not shifting...see 2 screw holes with in the transmisson...do not know which one to adjust...maybe someone can tell me an approx sitting..would like to know what both do,...thanks in advance

turn shift screw clockwise to make it shift at higher rpm's and counterclockwise to make it shift at lower rpm's. it really depends on what its doing, is it stuck in first or second? does it take off slow? if so it stuck in second and you can try to turn the shifter screw clockwise.

Well the engine on my lightining finally gave out I am gonna do the redcat engine replacement. I wanted to get the infinity motor that came with my volcano pro but I can't seem to find it one the redcat website. I looks like they have a sh .18 and a vertex .18 so I was hoping someone could make a suggestion as to which one to get thanks so much!
